【腎氣始於足下】歎個足浴疏肝又養腎

中醫理論認為冬天與五臟中的腎臟相對應,腎經從下往上始於腳底的湧泉穴,它是人體重要的「長壽穴位」之一,腎經之氣猶如泉源之水,湧往身體四肢各處,被視為生命活力之源。所以冬天想養腎,除了靠食補,亦可以按揉湧泉穴,以收養腎固精的功效,還要注意足部保暖,以免足部受到寒邪的侵襲。睡前浸個足浴,都有助雙腳暖和、氣血循環,達致護腎效果。

養腎足浴
材料:生薑連皮10片、鹽5湯匙
做法:生薑加入約800毫升水煮30分鐘,倒入盤中再加入鹽,加入適量冷水,浸泡雙腳15-20分鐘,讓雙腳有暖和感即可。

養腎穴位 — 湧泉穴
位置:在足底,屈足捲趾時足心凹陷處
功效:滋陰養腎、強精益髓
方法:大拇指用力打圈按揉。
Soak your feet to nourish the kidneys
Chinese medicine states that winter complements the kidneys. The kidney meridian starts from the Yong Quan acupoint at the bottom of the feet and goes upwards. The Yong Quan point is one of the longevity points. The qi of kidney meridian is like water of a fountain and goes to all four limbs, so it is also seen as the source of energy. If you want to nourish kidneys during winter, aside from diet, you can also massage the Yong Quan point to nourish the kidneys. Also be sure to keep your feet warm to avoid attacks from cold pathogens. Have a soak before bedtime to keep your feet warm, improve qi and blood circulation to protect your kidneys.
Feet soak:
Ingredients: 10 slices of raw ginger (with peel), 5 tablespoons of salt
Preparation: Combine ginger with 800ml of water and cook for 30 minutes. Pour into a basin, then add in salt. Add in appropriate amount of cold water to cool down the temperature. Soak for 15-20 minutes until you feel warmed in both feet.
Yong Quan Point:
Location: bottom of feet, curl up your toes and it is located at the depressed point at the center of your feet
Effects: Nourishes yin and kidneys, strengthen your marrow
Method: Use your thumb and massage in circular motion
